europe
natural beauty in dense population
James Thurber once wrote: “Beautiful things don’t ask for attention”. In my opinion, that really sums it up quite well. Even though Europe is considered to be densely populated and urbanized, there are many hidden wild corners. Most of the images in this gallery were taken in Southern Germany, where I have been living since 2005. Sometimes it can be as simple as getting up early, heading to the next meadow and exploring the small little wonders, which can be found in this micro habitat. Let yourself be inspired by the wonders, that can be found “right beneath your doorstep”. No plane travel involved :-).
